As part of The Chic Assignment for September, we are curating our fall accessories. As the seasons change, we delight in changing out our clothing, and we should pay equal attention to our accessories. If you pull out your seasonal accessories and have them readily available in your closet, you will be more likely to reach for them, making dressing each morning that much more enjoyable and effortless.
Today, I am sharing jewelry, boots, scarves, wraps, nail polish, hair accessories, and handbags with you. These are the items that will round out my fall ten-item wardrobe.
Let's start with jewelry.
Sandro pearl drop earrings these earrings have a Renaissance vibe to them and are bright and sunny.
I enjoy my seasonal partnership with Ana Luisa Jewelry and they partnered with me for today's video. I chose my six favorite pieces from their fall collection to share the various jewelry trends that are prevalent this season. They use recycled gold in their jewelry, making it affordable and sustainable for the customer.

Alba pearl drop These chunky statement earrings are chic and make a bold statement.
Plato necklace This lovely necklace reminds me of a Roman coin.
Celine pearl necklace This is a Swarovski crystal necklace that comes in a very classic length.
Hana marble pink earrings are more fashion-forward. The backs are gold and are quite unique.
Michelle bracelet Designed by Michelle Choi, this beautiful dangling cross bracelet is a classic.

You cannot go wrong with a classic riding boot. They look great under long skirts and dresses, as well as with jeans or leggings tucked in. Here is another similar boot in black that would look so chic.
Blondo boots are comfortable, high-quality, and waterproof. These work great with jeans and dresses.
These Duchess boots are chic, comfortable, and very high-quality. They also come in black. I am eyeing the Captain boot from the same brand as I love the Victorian detail with the tie-up laces.
Next, let's look at scarves. I lovely a cozy plaid scarf in the fall season. This affordable one is from Amazon and can actually double as a throw blanket for a chair or sofa.
A chunky knit infinity scarf is another great option for fall.
A tan pashmina will carry you far. You could use this year round, of course, but you can style it with other clothing and accessories to carry it into fall.
This wrap from MerSea is excellent for travel and perfect for the changing temperature. The unique wrap allows you to put your hands through a short "sleeve" like a sweater while not clinging to the underarm area. This particular wrap is reversible, making it even more versatile. Also featured in this look are my high-wasted cropped jeans, Edwardian-inspired white tee shirt, and leopard sandals.
As for hair accessories, I have been enjoying the effortless, chic look from headbands. This top-knot set of 12 headbands on Amazon is affordable and comes with many fall shades.
Velvet scrunchies and bow ties (I'm linking my favorites here and here) are another great way to embrace the fall season. The velvet texture adds a luxurious and regal touch to your hair. As you saw with my previous feature, The Duchess of Cambridge enjoys wearing velvet scrunchies as well.
Note this picture I found of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis where she is wearing the velvet bow and pearl necklace. Some looks are timeless!

Neutrals are very popular right now for nail polish. My favorite this season has got to be Honeymoon from Londontown. (Use code JenniferS for 15% off your first order). I also love wine colored shades this time of year. For a complete look at fall neutral nails, check out my Londontown post from last month.
I have always had a very minimal handbag collection. My favorite Louis Vuitton tote continues to perform beautifully and I love the chic Parisian style it lends to any outfit. eBay is a great place to get used verified Louis Vuitton handbags
My other handbags are no longer available (they were from London Sole) so I am linking similar ones here and here.
I hope you enjoy today's video.

Comment of the Week
On last week's batch cooking post, Mimi G. writes, "I batch cook all the time. Whenever I make a one-pot meal, like Coq au Vin or Boeuf Bourguignon, I always make enough for a family of 4, even though we are just two. We eat half of it that day, and I freeze the rest for when I don't have the time or inclination to cook. I make and have on hand a huge batch of chili, which I portion out and freeze. I also have on hand in the freezer my homemade hamburger patties and a batch of cooked meatballs, and also panko breaded chicken tenders. These items can quickly become various dishes. Also, since we love homemade bread, I will bake a couple baguettes, which I cut in half and freeze. When thawed, then heated in a 400 degree oven for a few minutes, it tastes just as it does when freshly baked."
Hi Mimi, batch cooking is an absolute must, not only for large families, but everyone. It is time-saving and economical. Thanks for sharing your batch cooking routine!
